A 2024 tax reform introduced a dual-domain system that taxes revenue from Georgian and foreign players at different rates, so licensed operators run separate domains for each.
Penalties get sharper from 1 June 2026 under amendments to the same law. For a player, the practical read is that this is a real regulator with a real register, which is more than most of Asia offers.
